I had a dream

April 13, 2010

A really scary dream that my wedding was awful.  I was there and it was awkward, the lighting was all wrong, I forgot to change into my second dress (sneak peak, there might be a second dress), and the music came from an ipod that wasn’t organized correctly.  Sigh.  It is a sign that I should get my act in order.  It’s pretty much set that come hell or high water, I must have a wedding in October if it has to be in a barn.

So H2b and I have pretty much set our decision on his army post (not base, base is a navy term apparently).  Post sounds weird though.  That decision is one based on the best venue for both a reception AND the much neglected ceremony, price, and the fact that I can probably still reserve space there.  It’s also the most beautiful space I’ve seen and the perfect one for 150.  You can see our visit here.

As opposed to Dallas, where it’s 2-3x the cost for everything.  Also my friend who is having her wedding in November has everything set already.  My chances of getting in will be slim at best.

Now I must fight to keep that dream from becoming reality.

Congrats on settling on a date & venue! Now you just gotta get everything else… 😉

Don’t worry too much about the dream…they’ll just get worse as you get closer to the date. But in the end they helped me…I was pretty much unfazed by anything that couldn’t/wouldn’t/actually happened on the day.
